Introduction to Traditional Practice

Begins February 12th     7-8pm

In this class we will explore the meaning behind the traditional Buddhist prayers and practices that will help us to deepen our meditation experience.  We will engage in a chanted prayer practice together and then each week a different aspect of the practice will be explained.  Both beginners and those with more experience will benefit from this class.  $5 (Free for Members of the Center)

Freedom from Addiction

4th Friday of the Month 7-8:30p 

lotus addictionFrom a Buddhist perspective we are all suffering from painful attachments that can manifest as addiction, depression, confusion, and powerlessness.  The teachings of Buddha provide a clear and simple pathway to freedom from these negative states of mind.  This monthly class will explore how we can remove our addictions and live a life that is rewarding and meaningful. $10 (Free for Members of the Center) with Buddhist Teacher Dennis Kane
