Meditation for Children
Meditation for Children – Sundays – 11:30am-1pm
Even children experience stressful lives. They are bombarded with pressures from school, television, video games and peers. Meditation classes give children the means to deal with the stresses of life and develop a peaceful state of mind. Some examples of class topics include dealing with conflict and frustration, learning to appreciate others, and learning how to develop happy, peaceful minds. Children's classes are presented in a lively, creative and interactive way. The classes are suitable for children 6-12 years of age. Dharma for children will be an ongoing program every Sunday morning throughout the year.
Dawn Jackson – Meditation for Children Teacher

She has been an active member of the Center ever since, working as the Education Program Coordinator as well as the Foundation Program Teacher in Huntington. Dawn has been an elementary school teacher for over thirteen years and now looks forward to helping children learn how to use meditation to make their minds more peaceful and relaxed.
